Pretty Damn Good

Albeit a little hard. Loved the way it looked and sounded, and when you get the hang of it it's pretty good. Too hard though, and I'm not usually one to complain about difficulty.

Nice Art Style

I liked the way the game looked, but I didn't much like the game itself. It was nicely thought out, but some actions in the game seem somewhat unrealistic. The fact that you can push a rock into an enemy's line of sight and then pass between the rock and the enemy is a very cheap way to get through a lot of the levels, and I feel it takes away from the actual game experience.

Sound was great though. The music was fitting and the SFX really matched the world of Theia.

Simple Concept

But very nicely delivered. The music really set the tone for the game. Not only that, the pictures are lovely. Great job! :)

Wow.

3D in flash is a tough feat. Good job. Cool style too. :)

An engine?

I know how hard it is to make one, it gets pretty complicated, so congrats for getting this far. A little advice, use a Vcam and make the link sprite actually move, instead of moving everything around him, that's the reason your game is lagging so much. Also, try making the sword swing faster, because there is a delay at the end. Other than those two things, good job.

Nice!

Pretty fun haha, good job. Thanks for using my loop as well. :)

Glad you liked it!

Lol crazy good idea.

Not typically a flash for this site, but awesome lol.

Not Bad.

Could use a LOT of work though. Controls are a bit clunky, art is sub-par (no offense, but the black outlining does not look good) and the battles just look.. confusing and not well thought out. Other than those problems you've got a great game. I also know how hard and complicated it is to make a game like this as I am working on one myself right now, so i gave it a higher score than I usually would. Work on some improvements and you've got yourself a winner. Good job :)

In my defense, the art being sub-par isn't entirely my fault. This is a SPRITE heavy game and I'm using original sprites - it's not like I'm drawing them myself. It's probably more accurate if you say you don't like the art direction from the Megaman games since that's what my sources are from. (If you don't like the backgrounds, that's more understandable. I basically cut and pasted those for this demo). And lastly, you can turn off the black outline on/off - it's an option. I leave it on by default since the sprites have a way of blending into the background very easily. Try playing it without the cell-shading and you'll come to appreciate, as I have.

Don't post crap.

This was bad, and I think you know it. Not even scary. Don't post stuff on NG unless you actually know it's worthy of peoples time.

Pretty Decent.

Not bad, I like the music hahaha, it adds something to it. If you had a goal to work towards or new obstacles or even an increasing difficulty it would be a better game as a whole, so maybe add all that to version 3? Good game as it is though, it just didn't keep my hooked for long enough.
